Deanbilla Bay On Country Oyster Farm Tour

- Duration: 150 Minutes (approx.)
- Location: Dunwich, QLD
- Product code: Deanbilla Bay
Your journey begins with the SeaLink passenger ferry from Cleveland to Dunwich on North Stradbroke Island (Minjerribah). From Dunwich, it's a 5–10 minute walk to Otter Street, or you can catch the local 50-cent bus to QUAMPI Cultural Centre.
Meet your Quandamooka guide at the Adams Beach access, where the tour begins.
From Adams Beach, we'll walk approximately 20 minutes across the mudflats at low tide to the oyster farm. You'll get your feet wet and muddy as you make your way across Deanbilla Bay and experience the changing tidal environment.
Along the way, learn about Quandamooka culture and connection to Country, oysters, the marine environment and the history of oyster farming in Moreton Bay.
At the farm, get hands-on and discover how we grow and care for our oysters, from tiny oyster spat through to harvest.
Then enjoy 18 fresh Quandamooka rock oysters per person On Country, alongside the waters where they're grown.
Afterwards, we'll make the approximately 20-minute walk back across the mudflats to Adams Beach.
